Pastor's Word

A WORD FROM THE PASTOR

It is good news that the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is all-embracing, to satisfy, guide and lead, not the adults only but also the youths to “green pastures” and “still waters” that their souls may be restored and refreshed with God’s righteousness and peace.

The overall success of Christians spiritually, academically and socially is one of our greatest concerns. Since the students in High Schools and Tertiary Institutions are no more children and majority of these youths are not yet adults, they need special care, special handling and attention.

To attain this objective, a holistic approach to Ministry is encouraged. The Sunday School Classes, House Care Fellowship, Weekly Bible Study Classes, mid–week prayer services, etc. are gatherings where success principles in all areas of a believer’s life are taught practically.

The Eliza Turner Memorial AME  Church under our spiritual watch teaches Biblical truth relevant to the spiritual, academic,  psychological, and social needs of all, so “that our sons and daughters may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as cornerstones, polished after the similitude of a palace” (Psalm 144:12).

We bless God for our lives and the opportunity He has afforded us to serve   in His Vineyard.

May the Lord grant you the desired victory in life as you systematically read through our website week after week. Amen!

Rev. Alvin E. Attah, Sr.
